BE WARNED-STAY AWAY!! In my opinion the flaws of this building greatly outweigh the perks. The access to I95 is great since you are located west of downtown and the train tracks. Makes my commute to work much more bearable! The concierge have been very friendly and kind. They are willing to help out at any time. As for the flaws, if you are looking for a quiet building where you can open your windows and enjoy the fresh air - look elsewhere! The Tri-rail passes by numerous times throughout the day blowing its horn randomly (disregarding the designated "quiet zone"). Overnight the trains are stationed right behind the building, where you will hear them repairing, cleaning, and testing the train while you try to sleep. It's been on the local news. At 4am the ringing bell signals the train is departing - so much for a good nights sleep. I wake up at 8am still tired every single day from the noise! In addition to that, you will hear everything through the walls and out in the hallway, noise is definitely a huge issue here! Guest parking is poorly planned - there is no easy access for guests who need to first come in to get a pass and then park on the top of the garage (which is not directly connected to the building). I have been to the pool area quite frequently where I have been greeted with a frigid pool and cold sauna - because the heaters apparently tend to break. Location is a block away from the "hood" and a walk to Cityplace can be tricky since you have to cross the busy intersection of Okeechobee and Tamarind. No security there was a rash of car break ins and stolen bikes with no action from the board or new management. That's just the beginning. Definitely proceed with caution if you are thinking about a move here.
