Resident 2019 - 2021

3/10/2021

This is not a luxury building. The structure is relatively young but you can tell after living here that maintaining the quality of the building and its units is not the priority, collecting checks is. The gym smells moldy. The counters, cabinets, and appliances are cheap and haven't been updated since the early 2000s. Counters are cheap and covered in sheet laminate. My washing machine went out and it took an entire month to replace it. When I did get the machine I laughed because I noticed that they replaced my washer unit with a unit from a neighbor who had recently moved out. They made me wait until that neighbor had moved out to get a working washing machine. Horrible. The maintenance work is shoddy but I guess that's to be expected when you're holding the building together with bubble gum and glue. Overall the best part about the apartment was the security team in the building. Top notch, never an issue. When the gate broke a security guard sat out by the garage until it was working again. The worst part about living here was the folks in the leasing office. They'll harass you with emails and phone calls until you sign a lease and the moment they've got your deposit you will never hear from them again. They won't answer an email, phone call, or open the office door to you. Followed the leases guidelines for communication and STILL no response. During the washing machine issue I couldn't get a single piece of correspondence from them. 0 out of 10 experience dealing with the leasing staff. No respect for the people in the building. They engage in business like grifters. I do not recommend that you live here, mainly because I don't think it's possible to work with people who don't respect you (or your money). This building is fools gold, looks great at first glance and then you settle in only to notice that the gold paint is peeling and there's nothing valuable underneath. I rented a 1BR in 2019 for $1700. If you choose to live here and the unit you visit seems just like what i said earlier don't pay more than $1700 in rent, they've done no upkeep whatsoever. Don't pay a premium for trash quality and trash service.
