Positives: great neighborhood - well cared for and great amenities - nice pool - awesome fitness center - friendly staff – nice neighbors – well groomed grounds with not much pet waste (yet) – the complex is “dog friendly” which usually ends up meaning “dookie box”… Anyway so far it’s well taken care of…

Major Concerns: I’m currently on my second day without water. There is obvious evidence that this place was rushed to be completed – or had corners cut. Minor problems such as water damage, and what not, seem to be well taken care of. Major problems such as water lines, security gates, parking decks and permits seem to take much longer. (sometimes months) They must not have bought the service plan. Or they’re using the cheapest “contractors” possible.

Minor Concerns: it seems like they are still being built around the residents. Initially we were stalled a bit to get in – fixtures and floors were nothing close to the display (much uglier and cheaper – i.e. linoleum not tile) – but oh well. Immediately moving in we had water damage – which is typical of new places and it was well taken care of promptly… after a bit it was obvious that the office told us whatever we wanted to hear - Especially about our neighboring construction concerns. I was assured there is an “Inman Park noise ordinance” - Trust me there isn’t… and there is a TON of construction/destruction everywhere (sometimes starting at 5:30 am and sometimes ending after 1 am). And these workers don’t care where you live, or if you have to leave, or if you can see safely by their masses of trucks, which block all visibility of oncoming traffic and stoned workers. Anyway it’s a clustafuk of noise and chaos for now. Should get better in the net few years… That’s if the Alta’s are still standing by then.
