I moved to Atlanta in the beginning of May, and I was absolutely overwhelmed trying to find a quality apartment that wouldn't break the bank. I must have looked at dozens and read every review on every apartment ratings website out there. I have been more than satisfied with Cambridge at Buckhead. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. If I submit a maintenance request, it is always taken care of that same day. The ground are kept very well. There is the occasional lazy pet owner that won't pick up after their dog, but management is good about having pet stations out and reminding people of this (also karma should eventually come around to get those lazy pet owners in my opinion. Don't get a dog if you're not willing to accept all the responsibility). Yes, you can hear your neighbors above you (I have a family with kids above me), but unless you live on the top floor of a building, you are never going to have peace and quiet above you. That is just a fact of life when living in an apartment building, so you might as well get used to it. No washer and dryer in the unit, but the unit comes with hookups. You can rent from appliance warehouse very cheaply. You can't beat this location. You can walk to tons of fantastic restaurants, and shops such as Kroger, Jason's Deli, Massage Envy, Petsmart, CVS, a Landmark Diner, Chase Bank, and even Trader Joes (might be kind of a longer walk for that one, but definitely manageable. I do it all the time). Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza are less than a five minute drive away. I can also get to a Home Depot and two Targets in under five minutes in my car. It is also close to the Buckhead MARTA station and Lindbergh MARTA station. I'm a younger female with a dog, and I have never once felt unsafe walking my dog around at night. The complex is gated and very well lit. I have not seen or heard of any unsafe issues in my time being here. There's a good mix of young couples, professionals, and families. My neighbors are all very respectful and friendly. The units themselves are beautiful. They're in the process of renovating a lot of them, and my roommate and I got one of the first completed renovations. They've upgrade all the kitchen appliances to stainless steel and have faux granite counter tops. And for a two bedroom in Atlanta, our apartment is huge (around 1150 square feet). The one bedrooms are around 1,000 square feet. They are very pet friendly. There is a one time deposit of either $300 or $350 (can't remember off the top of my head), but that is much better than most places I looked at. Some of the Post complexes had fees up to $1,000! There is no pet rent, and there are pet potty stations throughout the complex. Fitness center and pool are great. The pool has two gas grills and two electric grills. I've tried to include everything I was looking for when I was searching for an apartment. Cambridge at Buckhead is a fantastic place, and I absolutely love living here. I would highly recommend it!
