I have been in this complex since October 2016 and it has gone downhill since the moment we walked into our apartment (the complex didn’t give move-in walk-through) When it comes to repairing anything, you’re lucky if it gets done correctly. You’re even more lucky if maintenance knows English. I’ve been complaining about our heat blowing cold air at night since Winter 2016.... to this day March 1st 2018, it STILL hasn’t gotten fixed because no one knows what to do to fix it nor will corporate approve of a new furnace. Since August 2017, we’ve been having a leak in the downstairs bedroom closet. Spoke to the mgmt ladies and they kept sending out non-English speaking maintenance guys who made no sense on what they were recommending from turning on the AC to STOP the leak, to spraying bleach on the puddle from the leak to kill the smell the leak was giving off. They made a hole in my wall in October 2017 to fix the leak and seen it was a cement wall so they left. New property manager came in in January and acted like she was going to help. Left us hanging with the heat (and I’m pregnant) and only had the hole in the wall patched up but didn’t have the leak fixed. The smell has gotten extremely bad that it keeps making me sick. I keep ending up in the hospital and keep missing work. Since she never sent air quality control people as she said, I called them myself and paid for them to come out in 20 min. Come to find out, the leak cause so much mold and 10 different fungi’s. I went to the Manager today and she looked at me shocked then said they don’t do anything for tenants when it comes to mold in their apt. AND ITS DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE! They have March’s rent, won’t fix the heat not leak NOR MOLD, and because I’m pregnant with my 2 kids and my elderly mother living here, the hospital and our doctors said we need to move right away. But again, mgmt did not care at all. Don’t move here. It’s so not worth it to be this pricey. Go somewhere that values their tenants and does things by the books.
