Resident 2004 - 2007

1/17/2007

This place is being run down to the ground

Office staff are almost never in the office. Maintenance is almost non-existent. Have had to wait months for them to look at my door that sticks so bad, it is threatening to break when I open it. Each time, they said they would need to come back - no one did, then when I called about it again, they sent someone else who comes to the same conclusions and says they have to come back and don't, then I call again and ... (repeat).
They send out mass notices of rules violations that are not rules in any lease that I have signed. They threaten to fine you $50 for each offense. Sounds like someone must have a drug problem.
Swimming pools get closed by the county down due to complaints of male-to-male sex.
They advertise having a beautifully landscaped "memorial garden". It is now nothing more than a mosquito breeding ground. The pond has not worked since the summer of 2005 and the water is the color of tea due to all of the leaves and pine straw. The queen that is supposed to keep it up is more concerned with keeping dogs out of his flower beds (which have died) than with keeping the area kept up.
Mexican adults and children play soccer in the parking lot, breaking car windows or denting doors and threaten you if you come out to say anything.
Rumor (from another property management company) has it that this place has been sold to be torn down for a new condo development, but that it won't change hands until the second half of 2007. We'll see what happens.
