Poor management: they rip off the security deposit
Try this apartment only if you don't mind losing the security deposit. We understand that the tenants lose some money when their lease ends, but I have terrible experience with the people in this management office. I lost $475 for a small damage in the carpet that I didn't make. As a matter of fact, it was a damage made before my moving one and a half years ago. They somehow bleached the bad spot so that it could not be visible at the time of inspection. They blamed me for not carefully checking in, but it makes no sense because I informed them about the carpet (and bugs, too). I also found out later that they were planning to put a new carpet in my apartment, and thus they never took my request seriously. Now, they cut a big lump of money from my security deposit to replace the carpet. This is a cheating.

The apartment complex is close to the shopping mall and the interstate I-85, but I will not recommed this apartment for your place to live in Atlanta or near Emory. I tell my friends at Emory to stay away from this apartment. However, if this apartment is your choice with no other option, then check every itty bitty tiny damage, no matter how small it is, and make sure it is not your fault. Otherwise, you will lose money and feel like that you were stabbed on your back. You will see what I mean. Bugs in the apartment are another problem. And, the crime incidents are increasing.Share This Review
