I have visited several complexes in the Columbus area & I was interested in making the Crossings home but after my recent visits I am now unsure. When I arrived to the complex no one was in the office and there was a sign on the door that stated they would return in 15 minutes, no problem, I went down the street to the convenient store to buy time and when I returned there was only one staff member there working with residents, etc. I was very patient and ended up waiting for about 30 minutes before I could be given a tour (luckily I didn't have anything else to do that day.) The lady that gave me a tour was friendly and apologized for the wait. I toured the property & it was a very beautiful complex (I read the reviews beforehand & did indeed notice that there was no lighting in the bedroom & living area, but I liked it so much I figured that I could live with lamps.) I was told by the leasing office that they were doing a Leasing Special for the month of September with a month's rent free! Sounded good to me so I took the information & application & considered everything carefully. A few weeks later I returned to submit my application & similar to my last visit there was a sign on the door this time it stated that they would be out for 30 minutes and this gave me a bad impression of the community. The first time I was understanding because I understand that agencies can be short staffed at times & things come up but the last time I went there it was an inconvenience for me because I was leaving town for a few weeks and now I won't be able to hand deliver my application in enough time to take part in the leasing special. First impressions are always the most important to me and I did not leave with a lasting impression.
Also, I wish that there was a n/a option for some ratings since I don't live here I can't give an accurate rating. This is just based off of me touring the property.
