Do not trust the leasing office
The leasing office always change their policies in order to earn more money from their customers. Also there are many sects in the apartment.

4 years and happy
I've lived here 2008-2012 and it has exceeded my expectations. It is the best value in the Emory/Decatur area. The management responds to work requests within 24-48 hours. The studios are small but has everything necessary. Laundry facilities are connected to the leasing office. Thereā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Don't trust management
I had very little complaints until today. When we moved in, their website advertised a move-in special of one month of free rent. When we asked the manager about it, he stated that our last month would be free. However, upon leaving the facility, heā¦Ā See More >beardal

Loved it
I rented at Emory Woods for a little over a year and loved it. You should definitely rent here if your income is low, you want a good amount of space (both indoor and outdoor) and if you don't care about having a dishwasher,ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

No-Don't rent
The price was right when I first moved in, but then they kept increasing the rent. The AC leaked, not 1 time, but 3 times and flooded the whole downstairs. Maintenance never cleaned up the water, nor did they replace the carpet. There was aā¦Ā See More >aptguru2011

STAY AWAY!!!
Yes, rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for! I would definitely NOT recommend this place for the following reasons: 1. NOSY (street as well as the old lady upstairs rolling around with her cat) 2. Poor structure (interior and exterior). I'm surprised the building didn'tā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Cheap place but the utility bills are extraordinary
I moved here for school. The good thing about this place is that is a mile away from Emory, so I could walk there if I wanted and there is an Emory shuttle a block away. It also has quite a bit of restaurants andā¦Ā See More >kgonzalez3

Why do people have a problem with these apartments? I think it's great.
I've lived here for two years, and I've loved it so far. I lived in a 3 bedroom, then a studio, and now I'm moving into a two bedroom. The price and location can't be beat in this part of town, and it's a quietā¦Ā See More >rumtuggle

Not luxury, but what you're looking for.
Are there nicer places than Emory Woods? Yes. Are the buildings old? Yes. Is the staff unobtrusive to the point of non-existence? Kinda'. But I still recommend this place without reservation. I have never found an apartment complex so well placed and willing to rent outā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Leaky homes
Leaky homes. Be prepared to pay monster utility bills. Residents say, management increases rent every year. Many units are vacant since 4-5 months. Roaches are big problem. I saw dogs without leash, without any attendant. What world we are leaving in. Other positive reviews canā¦Ā See More >trueme

Pros and Cons as much as any place
My review is a little bit older, so things may be slightly different now. This apartment is actually a really good deal, you get TONS of space for what you pay for. For parking, I believe you can pay a small fee monthly to haveā¦Ā See More >Jhanus

mean management
I have to agree with the other posters that they will take every last cent of your security deposit for their own poorly maintained apartments. I really liked the community, but there's no aruging that these places are old and worn down. I just dontā¦Ā See More >anonymous

A great deal for the price
I have been living at Emory Woods for a few years now. This is by far one of the best deals in the area if you don't mind living in very old buildings. The management is very friendly to deal with and they respond quicklyā¦Ā See More >Emory Woods Apartments
