I have lived here since the mid-1990´s. The location is decent, the apartments are generally in decent shape and the people are an interesting mix from all over the world. The biggest warning I should give people is that with only a few exceptions, their service motto seems to be, "What are you bothering me about this time?" The pool is kind of lively in the summer and the work-out room is seldom crowded. The two biggest problems have been the fact that one of the laundry rooms has dryers that usually, but not always, give heat, and the fact that they have not replaced the railings on my stairway since a car drove through them and crashed into my apartment.

Also, a neighbor of mine has been overbilled for her water service since they installed the meters. Her bills are frequently over $50 when other single people pay less than $20 and families seldom pay more than $30. She has complained to U.S. Energy about it several times, and they claim that they tested it and it´s supposed to be working properly. If you look up this company on the Better Business Bureau´s site, you´ll find that they had a similar complaint filed in the past, and they didn´t even bother to respond to it. She was so upset, she decided to not pay her last bill until the dispute can be resolved. Instead of trying to offer her assistance, the people in the leasing office have tried to refuse to accept her rent check until she pays the bill. By my estimation, she has been overcharged around $1,000 already. So if you decide to move here, you have been warned. You get better service from federal government employees.
