Lacota Apartments- Dunwoody

Oh where to begin. First, the negative, and mind you, it's not too bad. This side of town used to be Doraville, but now that it became part of Dunwoody, that means you get charged Dunwoody prices for Doraville living. Like I said, not too bad, we knew this going in and we were okay with the price because of the convenience and accessibility to all parts of town (next to 85 and 285) and they accepted our 40 pound dog. The apartments are a little older, but they are making fantastic improvements and renovations to the units and the property as a whole, slowly but surely (love the little dog park they put in). Plus, they are getting Google Fiber soon! Definitely want to be here for that. Maria Barrita, the assistant property manager, from day one has been extremely friendly, kind, helpful and responsive. When we were first looking to move in here to now, a month after moving in, she has always been there to help us. Send an email and almost every time she'll respond to you the very same day, and if not, by the next business day for sure. That is some excellent customer service! It makes us feel like we matter and not just some other tenants to get rent out of. We had a few maintenance concerns and for the most part, the maintenance men were dispatched promptly. They come in, do their job, do it well and don't leave until everything is fixed, cleaned and back the way it was. On top of that, they are friendly and easy to talk to. Just a month in and we are happy here. I would highly recommend this place, especially after Google Fiber gets installed!
