I moved into this apartment when Kyla was still there around 2018. At first it was great! The staff in the office was amazing and friendly (i used to bake them treats all the time) and the gates worked and we had security patrol the parking lot during the night. I felt safe and content in my apartment. However things changed once Kyla left and they went under new management. All of a sudden the office was a very cold place, no warmth, no friendly faces, just incredibly rude staff that treated you like your mere presence bothered them. They started changing things and making new rules but failing to notify residents and expecting us to just know. And when they did tell us anything it was in the form or overly aggressive notices on everyone's doors and emails. Each notice ended with the threat of eviction if you did not heed the new notice. These apartments are nonsmoking and I had issues with the neighbor below me smoking cigarettes in his bathroom because it vented into mine and as a severe asthmatic I could not handle it. They refused to do anything about it. The smell was verified by maintenance and office staff and we were just told there was nothing they could do. But soon we started seeing threatening notices about someone smoking weed in the building. So that they will do something about but not the cigarette smoke? Next we had the issue with the gates, they started breaking down regularly (stayed open for over a month at one point) and since they got rid of the security patrols I no longer felt safe in my community. Then our bathroom had issues. We were there for a year and had to have our tub re-caulked TWICE, it would literally split and mold within days of having it "fixed". Then the issue with packages. My boyfriend and I shared our apartment, we were both on the lease and I had never had an issue picking up his packages until this new management company came in. They flat out told me NO and that they needed written consent from him before I could pick up his package. By that point I was beyond fed up and decided it was time to leave. I moved out in April 2019 and always tell everyone I know to avoid that apartment complex like the plague. It was a good place to live once upon a time. Now it is just a nightmarish dumpster fire. P.s. The windows would mold over very quickly in this apartments and would leak when it rained. I lifted my blinds after being away for a week and this is what I was greeted with. And yes my A/C unit was on.
