I recently moved in and this community is overall wonderful. The price is right for the space you get. It has easy access to the highway. The property is well maintained. It is filled with working professionals. There are children but you wouldn't know it because it is a quiet neighborhood. The people here are physically active and the gym is always in use. The amenties are great. The apartment itself could use upgrades in fixtures and the bathroom fan coming on with the light is the absolute WORST, but it is not the end all be all. Management gives you several options for communication: text, e-mail, posted on gate. They are really good about letting you know what is going on. Sometimes getting a hold of them is difficult at times, but if you e-mail or just go visit they'll take care of you. What really appealed to me was the fact that this property only offers 1 or 2 bedrooms. They have generous options for 1 bedroom floor plans and a few 2 bedroom floor plans. You can't go wrong with the amount of space they offer. If you are a minimalist they have a floor plan for that. If you like indoor space over outdoor patios they have a floor plan for it. I am living in the 800 sq ft option and it is just enough space for me. There were some cons, for example th fixtures in the kitchen could use some major updating (Kitchen faucet) and the dishwasher is a little on the iffy side. However, I have a spacious pantry, the kitchen has adequate counterspace, the oven and refrigerator although very basic function perfectly. I do wish the apartment had more windows but there is nothing I can do about it. The bathroom fan comes on with the light...I HATE THIS..but I deal with it. I would definitely prefer not to have this, but until its given as an option it is not make or break. The bedroom is sooo spacious and the closet space is generous as well. The room could confortably fit a king size bedroom suite...just saying. The living room is not nearly as big but it's just me and it fits my sofa, loveseat and end tables fine. They also offer custom painting for a fee that, in my opinion, is very inconsistent, but it is an option that I took. It was not done as well as it should have been but it is a good compliment to the spaces. The assistant manager Toshia is very sweet and very helpful and so is the rest of the staff. Things to keep in mind, the water bill is not based on individual use but rather based on the square footage of your apartment within your building's consumption. I haven't gotten my first water bill yet so I can't speak to the price but I am very nervous about it. There is a $10 trash fee...no this is not a valet trash service, just a fee for it. The community is really nice. No issues. The community also has events and even had an officer come and talk to the community about a neighborhood watch. Keep in mind I am still rather new to the community, but from what I have experienced this is a great place to live. If you are a working professional, prefer quiet places, physically active professionals, equal space for the money, a gate that works 98% percent of the time (it was broken one time but not for long, they fixed it quick) easy access to the freeway and airport, a clean community, this place is for you. Apply as son as you see an opening and you are ready because they stay pretty full.
