do not live here

Save yourself the headache of this place. To start my bathroom floor is caving in. We could not tour due to the renovation they were doing. yet none were done. throw up has been left outside of stairs for days at a time. dog poop everywhere. residents smoking weed and leaving trash everywhere. management is rude and maintenance responds after 2-3 months. management doesnt follow the lease at all. give you 5 days to pay rent before late fee yet they charge the late fee three days later. packages being stolen was the icing on the cake. NO NEW , paint chipping, no light fixtures in rooms. You will need lamps. doors are broken at the bottom. etc. ran down apartment charging you an arm and leg. dont forget how we pay a gate fee for a gate that doesnt work. i will not be renewing my lease!

    Current resident at Hampton Point,

    I recently has a issue a with a damaged appliance in my apartment. I spoke with Ms. Marie and she herself called the contractors who was assigned some on-site property updates. And informed the owner of issues about the damages by their employees. The owner agreed to replace the equipment for me and Also called with an apology for the damage. Thank Ms. Marie and Hampton Apartments. For also calling me to follow up and making sure that I Had received my replacement device as promised.

      VALERIE THE MANAGER AND PHYLLIS THE ASSISTANT MANAGER AND THE RECEPTIONIST. THEY ALL NEED TO BE FIRED. THEY TERMINATED MY LEASE BECAUSE THEY PUT ME IN A UPGRADE APARTMENT WITH MOLD AND MILDEW AND BUGS ETC. HOLES IN MY SCREENS. JUST SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH MY APARTMENT. DISGUSTING AND APPALLING!!! IF YOU COMPLAIN THEY TERMINATE YOUR LEASE!!!! WHEN YOU GO TO THE OFFICE THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE YOU AT ALL!!! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED!!! PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY.         I’ve had a few issues with my apartment but one thing I can say is that the maintenance team is very proactive and respectful! Also the community is very well kept! I believe that you get what you pay for but at the same time get a community where you are comfortable. I give this community a 3.5/5

          The property is very well maintained. The amenities are outstanding and better than most apt in the area. I was in contract with Valerie and Marie, they were both very informative and pleasant! Consider where the world is today, you don't find to many people that take pride in their jobs, like these two young ladies do!

            Wow. I'm not sure where to start. But let me just say. Marie was exceptional. This wonderful lady answered my call, listened to exactly what I needed and invited me on the spot to view the 3br I needed. I have been looking for 2 months. Marie gave me all the info I needed on the spot, I applied and got everything done with her in 20min. She kept in contact with me through the whole process. Marie was very professional, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. The place is beautiful, quiet and clean. I love it here.

              These apartments are a waste. You spend days monitoring who is in and out of there who does not belong because the gates don't work. Maintenance issues are never fixed due to the turn over rate, which is probably bc of the property manager nasty and unprofessional ways. She is extremely petty and should not be running this complex. You never see the "courtesy officer" anymore, assuming due to the covid she is missing in action. There were two shootings since I got here last August.. My lease is up soon and I'm sure VB will find some way to torture me. I have called headquarters several times in an attempt to report the lack of professionalism, the trash, the security issues and more. I am hoping to contact the person over VB's head. I appreciate Marie and Ms. Banks, thank you for making my time easier. I can not wait to move on to better and bigger things.

                  Terrible management! We moved in at the beginning of August and our AC had gone out that morning. We were promised the AC would be fixed in 2 days, IT TOOK OVER A WEEK. It was over 90 degrees in our apartment. We were told a different day for over a week until we finally got our new air conditioner. It finally took us notifying corporate about the lack of care to get our unit. We were also missing two kitchen drawers and have been told over and over that they're taking care of it...over a month later and we still don't have any kitchen drawers. We also have bugs and the pest control NEVER comes out to spray. Its almost impossible to get anyone in the office on the phone, and once you finally do they are incredibly dismissive of your concerns. Police have been out in the middle of the night looking around the complex for something, and the office staff never updated residents on what was going on. This place is a sad excuse for a "residential company". We will not be renewing our lease, and wish we had saved our money to move elsewhere.

                    Absolutely horrible apartments!!! Maintenance never comes back out to fix anything. One of them actually told me they didn't have the money to get all of the parts needed so it's going to take awhile to get it. The park is not safe for children to play at TRASH EVERYWHERE, ROCKS BY THE SWINGS THAT ARE NOT COVERED. Had a shooting in the building across from mine! I don't even want to here anymore. It just feels so unsafe! They paint over everything when the exterior needs to be redone. We don't even go on the balcony bc the wood is split and all they did was paint to make the community look better. WHY on earth would you redo you leasing office that looked perfectly fine before you take care of the residents that pay to stay here?!?!?! Don't just cover up actually do what is required of you not the bare minimum!!!!! They need to have a better parking system as we'll because visitors come and it's impossible to park near your apartment. Like now we have new neighbors and they have 5 cars all parked in the front even in handicap and they don't have a handicap… See More>

                      I really like this community because of the location. It is close to everything without getting on the highway. I loved Ms. Marie. She is SOOOOO nice. She made us feel so comfortable. Ms. Marie also introduced us to the property manager Ms. Valerie. They are so nice. The office is very nice also. Looks like an office downtown.                           The new management is doing a fantastic job! This place looks better and better as days and months go by. It's sad that people can't see the Manager Valerie is doing what should have been done for years and I mean her job! I want to personally thank her for enforcing the rules and getting people out that don't need to be here! The people complaining about someone doing their job don't need to live here. I have been here for 6 years and this is the first company and Manager that has ever really cared about this property!!!! Valerie and your team don't leave and don't change because you're doing a super job and the property looks great!

                            Hampton point is a very clean and comfortable neighborhood. The apartment layout is very spacious and there is a nice amount of apartment amenities. It's quiet and I always feel very safe within the complex.

                                I have lived here for 3 years and everything was cool until the new management. The staff is very rude with exception of one lady; the leasing consultant, --------. I had questions about transferring and possible lease termination. She was very respectful and took the time to answer my questions but the property manager, --------- and her assistant ------- are very rude and have bad attitudes and customer service skills. They don't like to be questioned and --------- even used profanity at me. I am use to paying on line for my rent and have received nothing as of yet. They don't care about inconvienceing the tenants but if you late they have no problem with putting you out. They need to be respectful and all the staff on the same page when giving out information.

                                            Great place to live and everything is convenient to get to. Food and shopping and interstate is all close by. Rent is reasonable and maintenance is quick to fix things when needed. Pool has been closed for about a week but that's the only problem

                                                Poor experience at first. On movin day a/c blowed heat and apartment was 92 degrees upon entering. No walk through with staff was done. They stated that they had walked through before I arrived. Beware, check apartment first!

                                                  It was fairly well besides a few minor hick ups. I have only been in the apartments but 3 days now so I can't really give too much feedback besides getting the phone situation in the leasing office a little more up to speed.
