The apartments are old. My railing on my balcony is unstable. Paint on my stove. Pest control never investigate the pest issue, they just walk around spraying what could be water for all I know. I have a major issue with centipedes and millipedes. There is mold in my bathroom from leaking faucets. I have complained about the leaking faucets. I have them in my kitchen and bathroom. There's mold in the bathroom pipes. The flooring is awful. There is a crack underneath my door, easy access for bugs to come in and a draft. Rent: They are very strict about the rent and do not work with you. I have been a resident for two years and always paid six months in advance, which I would pay in the office. D. Keys worked with me to ensure that I could do so, split the payments up so it would never be an issue for me. New management, Rhonda came and things changed. I was late a few days on my rent due to a bank hold on my check. Did she care to know what happened or work with me? No, she charged me $54 and promised to charge an extra $200 if I didn't have it within a few days. Mind you, you only have three days to pay rent before that late fee. Also, you can only pay online or in a store now. And they keep telling me that can't split payments. It all has to be paid at once, late fee as well and they won't work with me even if it's a day late. It's 2017, since when isn't a split payment an option??
