Resident 2008 - 2009 Not Recommended
Reviewed 10/05/2009
I lived in these apartments for a year, from '08 to'09. They were some of the cheapest ones I could find, but for what they provided, they were very overpriced. I had a total of three water pipes burst. One in the kitchen, in the laundry room, and in the bathroom. Thankfully, I was home every time, but it was a major inconvenience and caused some damage. the apartments themselves are grungy, no matter how much you clean them. The wallpaper was peeling in places, and the fake wood counter was, too. The stove was junk, I wasn't able to make anything other than pizza when I lived there. Our neighbors were quiet, but the people across the way would have loud drunken brawls at three in the morning. The police were involved at least twice. Parking is a pain sometimes, especially if you come home after 6 or so. Also, the AC unit is the type one finds in a hotel, a small unit under the window in one room. The rooms are never the same temperature, and it's very hard to regulate the temperature anyway. While it was hard to get in touch with people in the office when something needed fixing, the maintenance guy was great. It took a lawyer's phone call to make them call me about getting my security deposit back (they eventually sent it to me). Definitely not a place I would recommend.
