I just saw that the Carlyle responded to a review on here so I am going to try to see if I can get a response this way. My fiancé and I have been trying to collect the rest of our security deposit since June of this year. We lived at the Carlyle for 13 months and really enjoyed it. The apartments were really nice and would have recommended them to everyone! Before deciding that we needed to extend our lease for one month (while our house was finishing construction) I stopped in the front office. It took three trips in to get a signed copy of the exact amount we were to pay... And we paid that amount. After moving out, we were mailed a copy of our move out checklist.. Nothing was wrong with the way we left things but they took more money out of our security deposit for a water bill we had already paid AND saying we actually owed more than they told us originally. I have a signed form of what we were told. I have spent so much of my time calling and calling. I was told in July that it was being taken care of and sent to their corporate office by the office manager herself. Never received a check. Called back in September and it was never even sent. No record of anything. I have been calling the past two months and they keep telling me the same thing. Still no check. Called corporate two times.. Still waiting for someone to return my phone call. I have so much patience but this is getting ridiculous!
