I stayed in these apartments for close to 2 years. Throughout my stay, I found the staff very welcoming and cooperative. Before vacating the apartment, I was given an option to pay $125 upfront fee to clean the apartment. I could have gone for an outside vendor for cleaning but to avoid any hassle, I decided to pay it to the apartment office. On my last day, the team came to inspect my apartment. They found stains on the carpet (which I think was normal considering I (with a 5 year old son) stayed there for 2 years and the office never cleaned the carpet in those 2 years). They charged me close to $600 just for the carpet and another $200 to further clean the apartment (mind you, this was separate from $125 fee which they had charged already).
I could have called the leasing office to vacuum clean the carpet during my stay and that would have been free but I thought it would all be the same when I vacate it, which unfortunately wasn't the case. Also, when I asked for the additional cleaning fee, I was told that my cabinets had stains which took them time to clean (well wouldn't you expect the $125 cleaning fee to cover that)?
I couldn't help sharing my harassment with the fellow/potential residents. Unlike me, please do a thorough review of the community before you decide to stay here. The community gives gift cards to residents for giving good reviews online, DO NOT fall for it.
