I've lived in Bradley Pointe for a year and a half and up until now I have had no problems. My boyfriend and I adopted a puppy in January. When asked about their pet policy, the only thing they told us was that he had to be under 50 lbs. When we brought him home, we suddenly had a $300 fee added to our Feb. rent (despite our lease saying NOTHING about pets), and them saying he had to be under 25 lbs. full grown. After paying the rent for Feb., we were told we had a late fee, even though we paid it on the 4th when it was due on the 5th. We said we paid it and there appeared to be a glitch in their system where they didn't take it out. I said I'd be happy to pay it again, but I didn't think it was fair of them to charge us a late fee for their glitch. I was told that the fee was already posted so we had to pay it. I feel like they don't care that we've been good tenets and have never been late with a payment. This is completely ridiculous. I even make too much to live their on my salary alone, but the apartments said it didn't matter. I think they just want their money. I'm fairly certain that's illegal.
