We lived in Phase 2 the newer section located, located down Mill Pond Road. <br><br>Positives:<br>Nice floorplan - Huge laundry room and kitchen pantry. Open kitchen overlooks living room and front windows. Master Bath includes Garden tub, lots of counter top, and storage. <br>Lots of Storage Closets are large, including large porch storage closet.<br>Relatively quiet save the occasional car alarm that goes off for hours before anyone shuts off. <br>Ample Parking<br>No Bugs Heard lots or reports of tons of bugs in apartments though out Smyrna and Vinings area, I rarely saw a bug here. <br>Safe never felt unsafe. Outside is well lit.<br>Family oriented lots of families with kids live here, there are a couple of playgrounds on site plus a pool in both phases.<br><br><br>Negatives:<br>To Expensive 1000 for a two bedroom. We found a rental house with 3 bedrooms for 750. Admittedly the glen park apartments are newer and a bit nicer from a bath and closet perspective, but still there are better deals to be had.<br>New Management not as good as old. Glen Park grounds crew and office management service has slipped. The gates are broken often, either they won t open at all or because they wouldn t open,l they are left wide open until fixed. Personally I preferred not to wait for the gates to open and given the natural seclusiviness of phase 2, I didn t feel a security risk was present, when gates were broken.<br>Carpet is horrible. Shows every little spill and stain.<br>Construction isn t great. Doors sit on a slant and naturally open or close depending on the angle. Both toilets in our place not level, weird at first but don t notice after a while.<br>Also toilets clogged very easily. I must have plunged twice a week. <br><br>As a side<br><br>Utility cost<br>Water and Trash $35-45 per month<br>Electric $60 winter $120 Summer<br><br>I would rate the place a B overall. Worth a look if you are looking in the Smyrna area. <br>
