I have been a tenant in these apartments for 3 years. My lease is up at the end of this month.Last month I called the office to find out when would I be getting a notice for renewing my lease and the property manager told me the beginning of January and if I signed a 12 month lease my rent would stay the same.I could have sworn thay should have contacted me 60 days before so I could decide if I wanted to renew or not.Today I called the office to find out about the renewal of my lease which I have yet to receive a notice.I spoke with the assistant manager which she told me my rent would go up. I told her no last month I called and the manager told me my rent would stay the same. She then put him on the phone and he tells me that the property owners told him he had to go up on everyones rent.I then told him that I would get back with him.Later I called back and asked for corporate office number the assistant manager told me I would have to spak with the manager to get the number but he was busy and she said she would have him call me back which he hasn't.I feel if that was the case I should have been told this so I could make plans on moving or not.And the rent up nearly $70.00.Thats over $800.00 more a year.
