This complex has THE WORST OFFICE STAFF! The apartments are decent for the money and the maintenance guys are awesome but that's where it ends. This place is built next to a sewer treatment plant and smells horrible. We had a water leak in our apartment and they had to rip up the carpet and padding up to clean up the water. Only problem was it took almost 3 months for them to send someone out to fix the carpet. Now they want us to pay to replace the carpet. We told them we were concerned about mold and we wanted them to come check for mold after one of leasing agents told another tenant that our specific apartment was unfit because it had mold previously. After 3months of asking them to come check they never did. They assured us they went above and beyond to make sure it was mold free before we moved in. Turns out we had mold growing on the wall where we had the leak. Imagine that. We had a infant in our apartment and that's why we were so concerned bout the carpet and mold being fixed correctly. These people obviously don't care about the welfare of the families that live there. It wasn't just us that had problems. Our neighbors all said they had similar issues with mold. The staff just doesn't seem to care about you after you sign the lease. They way they do their water bill is outrageous! We had the lowest water bill out of the whole building we lived it and it was over $50 a month. Some of the neighbors said theirs was over $100 a month for two adults. We only lived there 5 months before we broke our lease and moved because it was so bad there. BEWARE BEFORE MOVING IN HERE! After getting power bills that were over $400 a month because our A/C was broken and water bills for $50-60 a month plus rent we paid more a month than we would have for a house that had almost twice the square footage. There is one staff member in particular the is the rudest and most difficult person I've met and you'll be sure to meet them if you visit the office. I have never written a review before about other apartments but I wish I would have considered all the bad reviews this place had before signing our lease. I wish you the best of luck and advise to look somewhere else until Columbia Residential makes some big changes in how this property is managed.
