The apartments at Columbia Creek were passable for a first time tenant such as myself. Rent is very cheap here, but that is due to it being a tax credited community with an income limit on occupants. I never had any trouble finding a parking spot, all maintenance problems were dealt with rather quickly. One of the nice things about this complex is that they do drawings every month for tenants who pay their monthly rent early (one day early still counts). Two winners are picked and those winners get $50 off their next months' rent. I was able to win it once, so I know it's a real drawing. One of the biggest problems with the area is that it is built right next to a water treatment plant. Sometimes the smell is not noticeable, but other times it can be unbearable to be outside. Luckily, once you get inside the apartment, you cannot smell it. Another thing they do is periodically check the apartments (either while you are home or not) to make sure they are kept in good shape. They will always leave you notes about when they will do it though and I've never had anything stolen during an inspection, so I think they are trust worthy enough. I wouldn't mind staying here, but one of my roommates is moving out, so we are going to start looking for another place soon.
