Thunder Ridge is highly overrated and is definitely not worth the annual increase in rent! Do not waste your time nor your hard earned money to reside in an apartment complex much less attractive than its name. Maintenance is hard to get a hold of. 24 hours on call and on site is an over statement. This summer (2012) was brutally hot, as a tenant in 2208, I went without air for three weeks..I filed a slip for repair in the main office as well as called on site maintenance and secondary maintenance numerous times. There was an informal note left on the arm of my sofa stating that a repair man was called. He never showed until three weeks later. During this time, I was without electricity for a day. I called my utility company, who was able to send someone out twenty minutes after my call, my problem wasn't with CFU..apparently someone during the repair of the air problem discovered a faulty breaker and all of the lights went out. Problem has yet to be fixed.
Among all else, parking is not ideal, laundry is cool, storage is good, people in the office are friendly..just a suggestion..supply a receptacle for cigarette butts. Smokers in the buildings oftentimes dump the remains of cigarettes right outside the door and trash is left in the parking lots, not attractive. With this information,it is quite clear that rent is fairly steep.
