Resident 2008 - 2022

Run away!

This place is miserable. Between tenants getting into fist fights, screaming matches, and getting drunk outside in the courtyard in the middle of the night on one hand and a lazy do nothing manager who refuses to get rid of those people, there's never a peaceful moment. A group of individuals sit around outside blaring their music, screaming and shouting through the whole night. Every. Single. Night. It's a non-stop party or screaming match with them. They leave liquor bottles and food and trash all over the grounds, have no respect for other people and are constantly either partying at 1 AM or screaming at each other and slamming doors. Most of the time they do both. Residents who have tried to deal with this unacceptable nonsense have actually been attacked by these people, including myself. I asked some hoodlum teens to get off my stairs, because they dont even live up here and my mother uses a walker and needs to get down the stairs. My stairs arent a hang out for you to party on. I was punched in the face for my trouble. Police and the manager refused to do anything. Another man tried to get their kids to stop hitting and attacking his own children. He was also punched out by these drunk bastards. Once again, no one did a thing. My mother is a little old lady who uses a walker, and these people ambushed her and threatened her while she was waiting for a ride to a medical appointment. As usual, no response from management. We have turned in 70 (yes really) complaints in to the manager, including dozens of video and audio recordings of these parties, fights, threats. She has done exactly nothing and told us she wasn't GOING to do anything. Because of her attitude even just checking your mail or taking out the trash can be dangerous here. She's created a horrible unsafe situation for all the tenants who just want to live their lives decently in peace. A minority of apartments, 5-7 units, make this place insufferable. And people are too scared or frustrated to speak out like I have, knowing it won't go anywhere because of this good for nothing manager too busy counting her money to give a crap about the property she's supposed to be, you know, MANAGING. Those people are too drunk or high to bother with their kids, so they run around unattended breaking things instead. We've had two jungle gyms broken, people tripped with branches, kids crashing their bikes into elderly folks on purpose, windows broken by them throwing rocks, wild animals killed, washing machines broken into to steal the quarters, eaves spouts ripped off the side of the buildings, rocks and sticks jammed into the outside air conditioning units, kids jumping on other peoples stairs to break the already damaged concrete. And good luck trying to tell them to stop, since you're liable to get beat up by the little brats' alcoholic, druggie parents. As for the buildings themselves, rent is way overpriced for a lot this crappy and the "perk" of listening to your neighbors BLAST their music for 12 hours straight while your walls vibrate and windows rattle. Good luck getting maintenance to fix anything in less than a month, even critical things. Trash is thrown everywhere. Paper thin walls, drafty windows, and broken down everything top off the already awful surroundings. If you want a place where you can actually get some sleep and feel safe, DO NOT MOVE HERE. It's a noisy, filthy, dangerous, miserable place. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, even if I was paid! Stay away from here like your life depends on it!
