This is my fourth year living in Seville. While it's not a high end or luxurious apartment, it's a good place to live while going to graduate school. Ceilings may show past water damage, but maintenance is quick to fix things that break (they replaced the motor in my AC/Heating unit the same day I reported that it was broken). It is annoying that rent goes up $15-20 each month, but it's still one of the more affordable places to live in Iowa City- especially with central AC and heat! The kitchen opens into the living room which makes it less claustrophobic than the galley kitchen I had at the first apartment I lived in here. The living room windows are also nice and large. It's right on a bus route that will drop you off by the hospital or downtown. There are stops just outside two of the buildings.
Quiet neighborhood and quiet neighbors. The parking lots are also well lit. I've only heard my neighbor's tv once when they probably had friends over to watch a movie. I never hear the people below me.
