My husband and I moved here at the end of May 2013 and thought it was great for the first 4 weeks, and after that 4 weeks was up.. it became obvious that we made a terrible mistake! Management is a complete joke, I have had continuous problems with kids being out way past curfew standing in front of my door throwing a basketball against my front door and sitting outside on my window ledge. The kids are very disrespectful here and extremely loud. I have gone to management several times and he told me he can't do anything if I don't have the kids names. He said I need to call the non emergency police number every time and then I have to go to the police station and pay to get the report to hand into him. After talking to the police about that- they said it sounds like management isn't doing their job because they can't give me names anyway. I called managements boss which is located out of Omaha NE and she said they can't do anything either. So I guess we live in hell until May 2014! There is dog poop everywhere (because people don't clean up after their selves) and there are cigarette butts everywhere. Management is very rude here, they will make you feel welcome at first and then they could care less about you.
I have talked to neighbors who live across from me and according to them- they have been here for 6-7 years and in that time Chapelridge apartments has gone through 3 different owners and now being with Seldin Company- it's at it's worst! I would have to agree with that! They are letting a lot of crappy people move in here and it's pushing the good hard working people out! Also- another huge downfall for living here:
The amount You pay-
Water $ varies each month
Sewer $ varies each month
Pest Control $ varies each month
Allient Energy $ varies each month
Mid American $ varies each month
Pet Rent 30.00 a month
Mandatory Cable 40.00 a month
Rent
I don't recommend anyone moving here! You will regret it! What was once a great place to rent.. has now turned into a terrible place to live. You are much better off spending that huge amount of money on renting a house!
