Resident 2012 - 2013

6/4/2013

After moving from out of state, I was thankful to find a place so quickly, but I will not be staying. It is not worth the price. Non of the "rules" of the community are enforced -- grilling/bicycles/trash on balconies, parking spaces for tenants only, handicap parking, picking up after pets, curfews for kids -- just to name a few. The place is full of trash, especially the laundry facility. You are responsible for salting/cleaning snow from community stairwells outside your apartment in the winter time (containers of salt are left at each stairwell) and sidewalks do not get shoveled very well. You are charged for everything, including renting washers/dryers and garage unit. Each building has "shared" water meters, so even if you do not have a washer/dryer, you can be chipping in to pay for someone else to do tons of laundry. There is only one dumpster at the entrance to the complex (very far to walk or drive the trash up) and its placement creates a terrible blind spot and traffic hazard. This place has the appearance that it was thrown together very quickly and the care is haphazard as well (there were actually hairs and dirt waxed into the kitchen and bathroom floors, yuck!) Everything around the office is kept clean and well groomed, but not the rest of the complex.
