I lived here for 2 years in a single bedroom apartment. Buildings are a little too old. Vinyl on the kitchen floor is lumpy. Walls and boards are wood, thin, pretty much basic cheap apartments. Appliances are horrible. Dishwashers shake the building, pipes crack when you run water, and you can hear music through the walls. The office staff are wonderful, and the landlady is very nice, but that doesn't make the buildings any nicer. If you live here, expect to call them often. They are very professional and they will give you warnings if they need to enter your apartment, along with notices about other maintenance. Communication is A+. Box Elder Bugs will invade your apartment everywhere in the fall (probably from the WOODS in Regency WOODS), and ants will find every entrance in the summer. You will be surrounded by smokers, occasional weekday parties that run until 3 AM, and dogs off their leashes. Luckily most dogs are friendly. It's good value for the price and location, but don't expect glamor. Parking lot is also a nightmare, people regularly park in the Fire Lanes and I'm surprised there aren't more accidents.
