Bankrupt soon!

Having recently moved from this place, I would advise everyone to keep away from here. This place is part of 3 different complexes in the Boise area managed by the same people...and they have run them into the ground from mismanagement and legal issues. Currently, between these 3 complexes, they have the highest vacancy rate in Boise, and I'll tell you why. The Regional manager teaches her sub-managers that it is ok to just "walk in" at any time without permission to tenants apartments with a pass key or do unannounced inspectiions any time she wishes. She believes she has the right to enter at ANY time for ANY reason and you have NO right to keep her out. She conveniently re-writes leases at her descreation and refuses to acknowledge any active leases you already have in place and truly believes she has the legal right to do so. They have numerous lawsuits already filed against them for unlawful entry and several others thinking about filing. Security deposits are not returned or dealt with in accordance with Idaho State law, no matter how good of condition the vacated units are left in. The property owner lives in California and his representative comes thru every few months. At some point, it's going to hit the fan and they're all going to be in court. They've already been to court for bogus evictions and lost big time over those. Residents are referred to as "inmates". My former neighbors that are still there are still suffering from these management tactics and either can't afford to move or must wait until their lease expires. Recently, a management change happened here and regardless of how much time was left on your lease, you were forced into a new lease for a longer duration. If you refused to comply, you were served with an eviction notice within 24 hours...usually before the end of the day. While I will admit there were a few residents that needed to be evicted, there were quite a few long time residents that were served as well for no reason other than the regional manager didn't know how to read the books and wouldn't acknowledge that their rents were paid in full. There were a few people on Section 8 and rental assistance that got eviction notices as well. If you know anything about rental assistance, you know those rent monies come from either the State or County - not the tenant. However, they chose to evict the tenant instead, which is causing even more legal issues here. Yes, this USED to be Boise's hidden treasure. This used to be a NICE place to live. Now, it's quickly becoming a ghost town due to mismanagement and they only have themselves to blame.
