Pros: Best courtyard in Rexburg, a really homely feel vibe Close to campus, takes about 5 to 7 min to get to campus pool and gym are a plus, hot tub could be cleaned a bit more Manager is willing to work with you They have a nice grill for the spring/fall semester Cons: -Very small rooms, drawers are very limited. You can get lucky if you get the front room. -dishwasher is old and may or may not get the job done -slow on the maintenance, had a floor board that was out and they never got to it. but they can come when things are more of any emergency -community washer and dryer that needs an app to work on your smart phone (it's becoming the norm) -they have about 10 washers and 10 dryers for 250 people. It can get a bit crazy. -Piano room and upper lodge here is stuffy, staying there in the hot days is dangerous. "Piano room" is more of a keyboard that doesn't really work. Comments I have been here in Alpine for about 7 semesters back in 2016. At the beginning it was about $950 but after they renovated the rooms it shot up to about 1,100 and about 1200 if you are getting a parking pass. The rework was essentially reflooring the main room, and getting new washer and dryers for the washer and dryer room. Everything else was more a fresh coat of paint. For what you are paying, you could easily get a room to yourself elsewhere. This is an old apartment complex where even members of the bishopric said that they used to live here back in the day. The rooms are small! But that's the price you pay for sharing rooms. The only reason why I'm still here is the the courtyard, close to campus, and the people I have gotten to know here.
