I lived at Brookside for a year. Worst year of my life because the upstairs neighbors had a dog that constantly would bark and scrape at the door for hours on end. I called the office several times and was first told they didn't have a dog upstairs. Then I was told they have a dog, but there was nothing they could do except tell me "It's a community! Learn to live with it!" I was paying $800 to live in this outdated, old apartment buildings. The office staff are snobs and will try to get an extra $1 out of anyone who walks in the office. At first they are nice and so ready to help, but once you sign a lease they turn into vultures. There was always someone in the parking lot playing loud music and we actually got to witness our first drug bust in the apartment next door. Wonderful place to live, right? Save yourself the hassle and don't live at Brookside. The cheap $99 dollar deposit might seem like a deal, but don't waste your time and money. Find a nice, quiet place without the hassle
