My experience at Campus Habitat was far beyond unacceptable. There was a new manager about every month and one of the managers even told me how she couldn't wait to be relocated because she hated the place so much. I had cockroaches regardless of how much I sprayed. I had mold spots on the ceiling that were larger than a foot in diameter. When maintenance finally came to fix it, they replaced the ceiling tiles. The pipe leaked through the new ceiling tiles and made completely new mold spots. I was constantly interrupted by the manager showing my apartment. I had two broken windows for a year. I complained every month, but whenever I went to the office, they had no record of my complaint due to a new manager. I had fixed one of my windows with duct tape. The frame was busted and wouldn't close. The other window had a large crack in it. More than 3 inches long. They finally put in a new window when my apartment was broken into. They seemed surprised that someone would break into my apartment. They didn't fix my busted door until a week later. I could lock the door, but the bottom of the door, since it was a thin wood, was bent in so far that you could stick your hand through it. I felt so unsafe that I never spent the night there. In fact, I spent as much time as I could at my boyfriend's place.
