Resident 2006 - 2007

1/27/2007

Negative points:
Many non-residents park in the spaces here, which I know isn't the management's fault, but it is irritating, especially since I pay a monthly fee ($20) for parking. Also, I signed a lease several months in advance, requesting a parking space and yet, they still didn't have one for me when I first moved in.

The walls are painted cinderblock and it looks like a prison. The Internet is frequently down, which is inconvenient.

The one-bedroom apartments are converted from two dorm rooms, so there isn't much space. There is no elevator, so depending on which floor you live on, it can get old climbing up and down the stairs all the time, especially if you have lots of groceries, bags, etc.

Positive points:
I think the current management is trying its best to upgrade this place, and they seem to be helpful and nice. Anytime I've had a maintenance issue, it's been fixed fairly quickly. I haven't noticed noise to be much of a problem, since my neighbors are pretty quiet.

For $600 a month in Carbondale, you could get so much, much more. I cannot wait to move!!
