Resident 2012 - 2013

12/18/2013

Let me begin... There's a bar close by (Red Lion) you will hear and feel the noise 5/7 days a week even during Finals. Neighbors are always noisy and the fire alarm has been falsely pulled 5 times so far this year, causing us to evacuate the building and stand a half hour to an hour outside. Security cameras do not function so the safety is lacking. Management is dumb, arrogant, rude, and crass. Very unprofessional people who made rude comments when you come to ask simple questions or have complaints. Building is very poor quality. Elevators break down (there's only 2) at least once a week and we went two months with only one, which broke down frequently. If you use a wheelchair, do not live here. Talked to elevator repair me and he said he sees things here he's never seen in 30 years. Maintenance staff frequently talks about low quality stuff within the apartment. Flooring, appliances, etc. The windows are CHEAP. Cold air will leak through them like a sieve. If you have the corner room with the wall of windows, good luck keeping it above 70 degrees in the winter. I sleep with two comforters just to stay adequately warm. The ONLY good aspect is the immediate maintenance who are curious. It gets worse.. there were drug dealers in the building who did not attend school who stole from 11 different apartments and were eventually arrested for felonies. Yup.. DO NOT LIVE HERE. There are highly quality, cheaper, safer, better, and better run apartments. I do not recommend them in any way shape or form.
