As another reviewer, I also moved into my apartment before Lee Street took ownership. Having lived there many years, we finally chose to move based solely on the terrible management. What the other reviewers have said is true: they are rude, completely not helpful, will lie just to get rid of you, refuse to do many repairs, do not return phone calls/email, shut off utilities with very little or no notice, change locks and hand out new keys several days later, and enter apartments without the residents' permission or knowledge. There were several serious crimes in my building during my tenancy with Lee Street some of which I personally informed them of, others neighbors reported informing them of. They did nothing.Nothing whatsoever, even when the area broken into needed to be secured (by adding a lock, changing a lock etc), they did nothing. There are many beautiful apartments in Chicago with responsive management. Don't rent from Lee Street.
