I lived here for nearly a year. The studio unit was really small. Think bedroom with a kitchen. It did have a dishwasher and built-in microwave. They were doing a lot of remolding at the time, so I bet the grounds and lobby area is even nicer now. The pros: very quiet. I never heard my neighbors. Close the the #6 bus to go downtown. I enjoyed many of the restaurants Hyde Park has to offer. The staff was wonderful. The cons: rent is high considering the tiny amount of space you get. Heat was free. but I had to keep my radiator turned off most of the time and it was still way too hot. I typically kept the windows open a crack - even during that blizzard! During the summer, the heat was unbearable. Buy a window unit A/C if you can afford it.
