Constantly Frustrating & Disappointing

Living at NocaBlu was constantly frustrating and disappointing. The apartments are in no way “luxury”, as they claim. The apartment looks nice at first glance, but in reality the fixtures and appliances are cheap and break down repeatedly. We submitted more than 30 maintenance requests during our year-long lease (17 on the day we moved in), with many issues repeating (like the dishwasher breaking/leaking) or never getting fixed at all (like HVAC issues). The office is difficult to get a hold of, especially in emergency maintenance situations (of which we had several), and regularly does not respond to emails or calls. The hallways and common areas are disgusting, with residents letting their pets use them as bathrooms so the carpets are stained and hallways smell like dog poop. The package room is a mess, and packages went missing multiple times (and the office did nothing to assist). The HVAC system and thermostats constantly had problems (like making loud noises all night and heating/cooling kicking on spontaneously). Needless to say, I do not recommend NocaBlu.

    Great location and great apartment layouts. But the building has lots of minor maintenance issues and requests often go ignored. Noise from other units is an issue, north-facing units get a lot of noise from outside, and the quality of the units overall is lacking (appliances are mediocre, paint and carpet is lackluster, etc).
