I recently moved out of this building primarily because the property rules are not enforced. First, on a nice day, it is nearly impossible to find a chair by the pool because tenants invite 20 of their friends who don't live in the building. There is supposed to be a wristband policy but, unlike any other building in Chicago, it isn't enforced. This year the cops were called on July Fourth because of rowdiness. Second, there is a strict non-smoking policy but there is a lot of dope smoking. The building has a party atmosphere, which is okay if you're 22. But it isn't worth paying $2300 for a studio in light of craziness. A great building, but understand what it is you're signing up for (i.e. Animal House).

Hello, First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. I understand your frustration and I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. I know the team here at SoNo East works extremely hard at monitoring the building to ensure that all residents are complying with the rules and policies that we have in place. I would like to setup a meeting with you to discuss this further. Please feel free to contact me at the leasing office number listed below. Regards, Dominique 312-664-8400
