Don't let the interior appearance of the recently-renovated apartments fool you. If you're going to live here, you'll need thick skin to deal with: a) constantly broken elevators, even after they were replaced with "new" ones over the summer of 2007; b) bad plumbing, including both the kitchen sink and the toilets, which may be the least functional toilets in history; c) getting stuck in the parking lot when the door won't open; and d) a string of questionable management decisions, such as closing the laundry room in order to "move" it the two days before Thanksgiving, when everyone is about to travel. Other than those things, the apartments look nice, it is in a pretty safe and cool neighborhood (although don't lock up bikes outside or they will be quickly stolen, no matter the ultra-strength of the lock), and the price is reasonable.
