I would not recommend renting an apartment at Vue 53. There are much better places in Hyde Park at reasonable prices. You would be charged much more than what you see on their website. I got two bikes stolen from the building on two separate occasions and they did nothing to fix the security issues. The areas are very small compared to other places that cost less than half the price and have better security. They also charge high fees if you're paying with your card through their website. I was also charged a $140 move out fee for normal wear and tear. There are much better places in Hyde Park, don't get fooled by their fancy website.

Hi Manuel, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I would like to directly address the points you have made in the review. If someone chooses to rent furniture, then there will be an additional monthly charge for furniture rental, as well as if a resident requests an apartment on a higher floor. These are charges that are made clear to future residents when they complete their preference form for our office. As far as the bike area, the bike racks are located in a public garage that is shared with our retail customers (Target, Xfinity, & Mathnasium), as well as anyone who pays for hourly and monthly parking. We installed a lock and key cage around the bike area on the 2nd floor and issued keys to the residents who have bikes on this rack in order to provide a little more ease of mind for our residents. In regards to the online fees, the online payment system offers a fee free option when using your bank account to submit an e-check. The credit card fees are typical in most online payment systems. Lastly, I just discussed your final statement with Danesha and although I agree with the charges, I have approved for the trash charges to be removed. I am unable to reverse cleaning charges as this was not due to normal wear & tear. Please keep in mind for future rentals, that all trash (including personal trash bins, hangers, laundry detergent, etc...) must be removed from the apartment. Thank You, Kirsten
