OneSidedLeaseAgreements/Management Rude/
I'll give it to you straight. The "nice place to live" reviews are from management(the same on every apt review site). I'm writing the review because it's my only vent. Lease agreements are one sided with year-to-year leases, 60 days notice before moving required, $2000 to break the lease, and I've heard they don't bend the rules to help you if you need to stay another month or so after you give them a 60 days notice (watch it if you're building or buying a house and it's late). Management has changed four times in 1.5 years. Sometimes, they were nice, other times (like now) they'd rather spit on you than talk to you. Complaints are almost always blown off (and I don't complain often). My electric bills are $225 during the summer (ouch!) - and I watch what I'm running at certain times of the day. Management doesn't believe me, or care (no suprise there). Maintenance are very nice and seem trustworthy, but don't know how to fix 25 year old air conditioners (but at least they come and try). Also, my car got keyed once. However, in all fairnes it has been a quiet place to live, the place it built like a rock with cement slabs between floors, no mice or bugs but sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands to keep the peace.Share This Review
