As the Property Manager, I can tell you that we take customer service very serious! Because of our high standards of customer excellence, we have been awarded for our outstanding reviews and strive for that to continue! If your experience was less than great, please contact me directly and I would be more than happy to discuss your unpleasant experience as this is not a typical issue with our staff or community.
Thank you for your review, however I am wondering if you possibly have the wrong apartment community. Woodcrest Apartment Home Community does not rent low income or section 8. We have an income requirement that must meet or exceed 3 times the monthly rental amount and we are on the higher end of chargeable rents for Decatur area. All of Decatur and surrounding areas (including Mt. Zion) have experienced issues with unlocked cars being ransacked and unfortunately we have a few vehicles that were included in this area wide problem. Otherwise Woodcrest residents frequently boast about the quiet and safe feeling they experience. While we do charge for damage and cleaning charges, we do not charge for normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear is taken into account when applicable charges are charged. If you are a previous resident of Woodcrest Apartment Homes, please feel free to contact Woodcrest to discuss any move out charges that you do not agree with.

I am so sorry to hear of your concerns. Unfortunately these issues are not any that I am aware of and would very much like to address the concerns that you have right away, so that I can ensure that you are able to live comfortably in your home as Woodcrest is and has been known to be a comfortable and quiet place to live. As well our Maintenance team are one of the best and therefore if a maintenance issue was not properly taken care of, I would like to make sure that this is addressed as well. Please let us know if you are in the search for a new home in the future and remember you don't have to be a resident to earn a $200 referral bonus. Just send us a new resident and as long as they put you down on their initial visit, we will send you $200 once they move in and sign their 12 month lease!
I am terribly sorry to hear that you have experienced these issues! Please know that this is not a normal occurrence in the Woodcrest Community. I would invite you to please contact the Management office as soon as you can with details of both occurrences, so that we can try to investigate as well as take precautions to prevent these from happening again in the future. I am sure if you were to ask your neighbors they could confirm that we do not normally deal with vandalism in the community. Again, please contact us in the Management office so that we can try to help you with these issues and work to ensure that they do not happen again.
