I moved into The Terrace Summer 2006, and I'm content with my decision to do so. I saw two spiders during the summer, and that was it. Garbage is picked up daily, sometimes more than once, which explains why we don't have a bug problem here.

In terms of noise level, the building I'm in is almost too quiet. In fact, my 2nd week here, I walked through the halls around 8 pm. just to see if I could hear sounds of activity such as televisions etc. I was surprised a building of this size would be so quiet. This could be good or bad depending on what you're looking for, but if you prefer talkative neighbors who interact a lot, you may not like it here.

The neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves from what I've seen.

Having said that, I don't think anyone would join this board to continue fabricating lies unless they honestly had bad experiences here. That would be a little nutty, and deliberate deception. But I sincerely think those were unfortunate circumstances before the building turned condo, and not the norm here.

My experience with management has been pleasant. They were respectful each time I spoke with them, and the maintenance guy Mike was polite the couple of times I've had to contact him for minor issues.

Also, regular notices are hand delivered to each apartment so residents are aware of changes and updates in the building. I don't know what else to say, except that if I had read this board before moving here, I probably would not be a current resident, and that would have been a mistake.

Anyway, good luck to everyone whether you're at The Terrace or some other location. Life is too short to stay any place you're not happy, or to return over and over complaining about a place where you no longer live. By the way, I've seen quite a few new residents moving in the last month or so. If the environment changes over the next few months, I'll post an update.
