Argyle Garden Apartments
Resident · 2008 - 2009
I moved here about two months ago and I don't think I could have chosen a better place for the price. The apartment was fairly clean. The floor in the kitchen was slightly dirty (most likely from showing others the place). It has new carpet and blinds. I was told by the landlord that she replaces the blinds and carpet whenever she suspects that someone smoked in the apartment. It may have been the case with my apartment, however, I was unable to detect any odd odors. I find the place fairly quiet. Mostly couples or single individuals (great place to move if you don't want to hear children). There is a train that goes by but I never hear it myself. The neighbors are very friendly and quiet as well. You have to go outside to get to the laundry rooms. There are two of them. Each has three high efficiency washers and 3 dryers with fair pricing. The machines are in great condition as well. There are a few downsides that I can think of for this place. One is there is no dishwasher. I am use to one however. It may not be a problem for others. There is limited closet space in the living room and bathroom. There is a very large closet in the bedroom. The carpet is really cheap. Its a low pile and not exactly comfortable to walk on. The bathroom tile is very ugly. Other than what I mentioned above, I have enjoyed my stay so far and I would recommend this to anyone.
