My family lived at CG a few years ago and it wasn't pleasant - in fact one of the older negative reviews here is mine... however we needed to be in the school district and within budget so we looked at this complex again. It is MUCH better than it used to be. Ryan (the resident manager) has improved the apartments significantly with updates. Stairs & railings have been replaced, parking lot repaved so you can actually see where to park, and the maintenance man is always around and available if needed. The grounds are well kept and clean (no pets, so no pet messes either). Lots of space for kids to run around away from the lot and street.
I do think Sproat should hire a pt assistant for Ryan though, as he works at two different complexes and THAT is what makes him a little harder to get a hold of, but it isn't impossible. We had no problem getting our lease done and moving in...
