Landings of Lake Zurich
Resident · 2013 - 2015
The Landings of Lake Zurich is the first apartment my husband and I shared together and we loved every second of it. The staff and maintenance are extremely nice and friendly. After reading some of the other reviews where people complained about the trains and parking I wanted to address that the leasing office informed us of all these features before even taking us on a tour of the complex. The train is not very loud when the windows and doors are closed and only make a loud sound when the engine goes pass. There are plenty of parking options including garages if you need one. They have snow plows come through as often as possible especially during snow storms. They also leave a bucket of salt by the front door in case you see ice on the sidewalk/parking lot. But the maintenance comes through and salt the sidewalks and parking lots once they come to work. The pool and fitness center are kept up very well. They have two treadmills, two ellipticals, a bike, free weights, as well as floor mats and stability balls. The pool has plenty of seating around the pool as well as ash trays. My favorite is when Kelly comes around the pool and hands out free treats like popsicles. The units themselves are very nice and clean. My favorite feature is the laundry room in unit. There is a full washer and dryer as well as shelving above the machines. Our unit also came with an electric fireplace which was warm and cozy for those cold winters. We had a very large outdoor patio which is very nice for grilling and hanging outside during the warm seasons. I cannot stress how much we loved living at the Landings of Lake Zurich. The only reason we moved out was because we were relocating to Seattle otherwise we would have renewed our lease for a third year. The neighborhood is very nice. Downtown Lake Zurich has an event called Rock the Block which is within walking distance. I also got my wedding dress from Volle's and our wedding flowers from Lake Zurich Florist. The Ela Library and Mariano's grocery store are right down the street. There is also a small shopping center down Rose St. with a 7-eleven several food options and Ritual Salon which is an amazing Salon. A big thank you to everyone who works at the Landings for everything you have done for us. You were wonderful!
