I live here, I dont know about drug deals happening on the playground. Drug deals happen everywhere. This is not the 1800's the sooner people realize there are problems everywhere the sooner they can stop complaining. There are some things brought up, drug deals, section 8, construction noise (honestly!) these complaints mentioned are EVERYWHERE! This WHOLE APARTMENT COMPLEX is income assisted! It is HUD which is a BRANCH OF section 8. People go on a waiting list for these apartments and I have never met one group paying more than $450/ month for rent on a 2 bedroom apartment. The maintenance staff does the best they can with what they are given. There have been several times where we had one part time maitenance man. This is thanks to Ross Financial's lack of hiring. The management at the local complex has no control over that. They can ask for more people but that doesnt mean they are getting them. One problem I see is that they cant keep anyone there long enough to know whats going on. And once people have an idea of whats going on... they leave because its crazy or they get fired. There is someone there at the moment thats new and seems to be trying to help things along. We will see how it goes.
