As a first time homeowner, I was SO excited to buy a condo here. Everything seemed to be perfect. We got a great price, were able to pick out every upgrade we could think of so when we moved in it was brand spankin' new!!! Then "condo life" set it.
Management doesn't give a ---- about you and your problems... They NEVER respond to e-mails or phone calls, and when they do it's the snottiest response you could have ever imagined... It took 6 MONTHS to fix the screen on our balcony door that THEY broke before we even moved in!! The power in our building has gone out 2 times in the past two months.. I don't mean a little outage either, I mean ComEd has to come out, DIG UP EVERYTHING, put some HUGE generators on the property (so much for sleeping) and then finally get it working about 26 hours later... This has happened TWICE!!! IN 2 MONTHS!!!
If I had known I would have such problems with this place, I never would have bought it. I'm looking to sell now and feel sorry for the poor sucker I sell my condo to.
Yes, it's nice on the inside but GOOD GOD is the association horrible.
