My husband and I lived in this complex for a year and a half. I was happy with my apartment but I did have a nice view of the courtyard/pool. I did think that the basement was creepy and unsafe. There were like 3 different doors to pass through to get to the laundry room and anyone has access to the common areas. The staff was at times nice but could definately have an attitude when they felt like it. Maintenance seemed nice but I did have a problem with my towel rack and when they fixed it, it just broke again a month later. But I did get a nice brand new dishwasher after waiting a few months due to the "snow". The first time our lease was 6 months and it actually went down $20 when we renewed it for a year but at the next one they wanted to raise us $50 which I still feel was excessive. I have worked for a property management company and you shouldnt have loyal tenants paying more than someone who just moved it. I was semi impressed with my year and a half there. We did have to pay double security deposit and recieved all but $65 dollars back to sanitize the carpets (even though we did it ourselves) I could live with that. I hope this helps.
